Božetěchova Villa

Extensive renovation of a pre-WWII Brno villa

Not very noticeable from the street, this villa on Božetěchova street in Brno-Královo Pole is unique for the number of interior details retained from its original period, the 1920s.

During the renovation all the Functionalist details were refurbished and renewed at great expense, while adapting the building to modern needs and adding an upstairs with a bedroom and terrace facing the gardens.

The garage, utility areas and entryway also underwent renovation. The original coal storage room was renovated into a new walk-in closet. The residential parts of the building underwent adaptation to suit the needs and requests of the owner.
